There is only my electoral role information and that%26#039;s is. Is there a good thing that I just have this? If not what steps can I take to improve it?
PS. I have never had a credit card and would like to keep it this way. I am good with savings and have a savings account that I contribute generously to every month.
Just got my CREDIT REPORT and have nothing on it, is this good or bad?
the only thing worse than no credit is bad credit. So down the road when you do need credit (say a mortgage or car loan) you have nothing to show you are a good candidate (well for a house there are other factors but a lending agency looks hard at your credit aswell)
Simply get a student (if you are a student) or bank visa with a low limit, say $500. and make small purchases that you know you are able to pay in full before the billing period and you will build a strong credit report over time, giving you a credit score for when it is really needed.

No credit is more hurtful than even bad credit. The point of a lender viewing your credit history is to determine how risky an investment in you is. So having no credit the lender will not be able to make a decision. Even having bad credit the lender can at the very least determine that you%26#039;re higher risk and adjust your rate/terms appropriately.
Unfortunately the BEST way to start to build your credit up is to open revolving credit accounts... credit cards. Even if you don%26#039;t desire to have a credit card it is still possible to have one without any negative effects. Find a credit card that offers incentives (Cashback or free air miles) and use it for purchases throughout the month, your instinct will be to pay the entire balance off - but you can build your credit more rapidly by maintaining a balance (Keep it small!). That doesn%26#039;t mean you won%26#039;t help build your credit by paying the entire balance each month either though (Just not as effectively).
A good website to help find a credit card that is best for you is: http://www.bankrate.com/brm/rate/cc_home...
Hope this helps! Goodluck!

Not having a credit history is not necessarily a bad thing. It will only become a problem if you intend on borrowing money. Most people borrow money for cars, houses, etc. But if you won%26#039;t be doing this then you don%26#039;t have a problem.
If you WILL need to borrow money in the future (and most do for at least a home) then you will need to establish some sort of credit history. The good news, however, if that you DON%26#039;T have to use debt to get there. Check out a company called PRBC ( http://www.prbc.com ). They are America%26#039;s alternate credit bureau. What is so great about them is that you can build a solid credit history by using non-traditional bills. Below is a list of some of the types of bills you can use to build a credit history:
* Rent
* Cable
* Phone
* Daycare
* Insurance
* Electric
* Natural Gas
* Cell Phone

No credit is a good thing.
You don%26#039;t need a credit score to borrow money for a home. Find a bank that does manual underwriting. It%26#039;s not a sub prime loan. it%26#039;s how home loans were givin%26#039; before all the fico score worship. You can get the lowest interest rates out there.
Obsessing with the I love debt score will get you nothing but debt. You have to borrow money and make payments on time to get a high score so that you can go out and borrow more money. It makes no sense financially.
If you pay as you go.
If you live on less money than you make.
You will have money and will not have to obsess with the I love debt score.

GOOD FOR YOU!!
YOU have not succumb to the sharks. Build wealth and stay the hell away from the sharks.
NORMAL is BROKE AND IN DEBT. tons of people will say you have to have credit. Believe me if you have CASH , it says a lot more then if you have plastic.
Most reputable mortgage lenders do manual underwriting looking at Income against household expenses.
It%26#039;s best to not buy a car on credit either. Buy used and pay cash, save money you%26#039;d pay on payments in a fund for 1 year or 2 and trade up.
I wish truly wish I%26#039;d never let the sharks feed on me.
Don%26#039;t be normal. You have a true freedom I will have in a couple of year.
Thanks. For me it is important to know it can be done.
